Broomwood Hall School, Wandsworth, London SW12 has embarked on a project to build and run a new school in Gondar, Ethiopia. Fully financed by contributions from both within the school and from outside sources, St George’s School opened its doors in March 2014, to its first 100 children, aged 5 and 6. St George's caters to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Ethiopia, many of whom would not otherwise be able to afford an education of any kind.
